Sorry about the delay..
Well it's been about 2 weeks since my last update
when we got back from WVU....and in 2 days, we'll be back there for what could
be the craziest, but coolest concept for anything possible. Derby Days....you
take a bus to this field, and drink....all day....got an idea cooler? No, you're
lying, stop it. This will most likely be our last trip to WVU, maybe ever. So
we're gonna do what we can to make it the best
possible.
I've been up to a fair amount lately.....I quit CompUSA(w00t!), started Kennywood, started lifting, and am back in full swing for concert season. April 23, 2005 marked the second time I've seen Greenday live, and it was one of the best concerts I've been to, and I think Greenday has just bumped Incubus for the #1 spot out of bands I've seen live. My Chemical Romance kicked a lot of ass too, I hadn't really cared much about them till I saw them live, but they were sweet ass. I open my e-mail this morning to see that another concert is on it's way, other than X-fest, which has yet to be announced. Sum41, Unwritten Law, My Chemical Romance, Social Distortion, and my favorite, Trust Company....May 27 at Chevrolet Amphitheater in Station Square. The best part of all, tickets are only $20 a piece, and they're all general admission. I love when sweet ass concerts come to town. This is a rarity in Pittsburgh lately though, since we lost basically all of the clubs that bands will play at. We got this, on top of X-fest which should be around that same time, oddly enough.
Nick pointed out something to me just a little bit ago, and it's pretty damn true. The TV station FX only plays Independence Day....and that's it. I've seen this movie on TV more in the past 3 weeks than I have in the past 5 years. To prove how much it's on...Saturday at 6pm, sure enough ON FX...it's on again...Weelllll what about Sunday? Yep, it's ON AGAIN!...jesus, get over this movie...It's good, but it's not exactly new. I'll tell u what, if some aliens came around here now...all these countries that hate us, watch how many jump on our balls to help them out. We're the best....they know it, aliens know it, and we know it ourselves. Like Nick just said, Aliens can't say checkmate...and if you can't do that, you're gonna end up losing. I'll update again soon with something better than this sham of a post......
