BANDBIOGRAPHY
Shy Tree is a female-fronted alternative/radio-rock band
from Las Vegas, Nevada. Alison Brown, Andy Roberts, and
Josh Brown have been playing alongside one another in other
endeavors for over three years. In just a year since
forming Shy Tree, they've been able to produce radio-ready
hits one right after another.
The band's professional attitude, along with it's deep love
for creating and playing great music is driving this band's
focus and it's success. In it’s first year, Shy Tree’s hard
work and Do-it-yourself ethic has earned them just under 50
shows across the U.S. along side many great independent
bands and with touring national acts, such as O.A.R.
With a consistently growing catalogue, Shy Tree’s live show
demonstrates their passion and energy, drawing in their
crowds with anthems such as “Us”, “Let It Go” and “Sunshine
and Sidewalks”.
Fueled by real-life experiences, Shy Tree's lyrics are
refreshingly authentic, while remaining positive. "Our
songs are our way of making sense out of the the good and
bad that life brings", the band’s lead singer, Alison says.
Shy Tree's goals as a band are simple: To make a positive
dent in today's music scene by pushing the envelope
musically, and to connect to as many people as possible
through amazing music and real lyrics that everyone can
relate to.
The band released their first self-funded extended EP,
Sunshine and Sidewalks in August 2008. Since it’s release,
it’s sales have funded the band’s touring capabilities and
equipment needs. It is available on iTunes, Amazon,
Target.com, and at any Shy Tree live performance.
The band’s plans are to tour full-time starting Fall of
2009.
