Slate Entry Here's a quick photo series of the slate entryway being created. You'll have to see the plaque in person to know what it says...

Slate from Urban Ore and a cast bronze plaque. I cutting them to suit with this cool saw. It's like making a jigsaw puzzle out of stone. I found the more I got done, the harder it got. After a several hours it's going well, but getting hard. Hand placing peices...the iPod is on for inspiration. 9 straight hours, done, and ready to be put in place. Lot's of dust and my back and hands were killing me!
