| | Counters are gone, appliances are going... | |
| | | For those familiar with JavaGym, this was the office. | |
|
| | Then goes the bathroom and dividing walls. | |
| | | The floors, the root cause of all this mess... | |
|
| | a mishmash of concrete and woodl, required a lot of work | |
| | | to remove by hand before they could bring in a bobcat. | |
|
| | Cassi visits the worksite. | |
| | | Looking from the JavaGym to the front of the building. | |
|
| | So, how to get a Bobcat in? Cut a big hole! | |
| | | And this hole is cut to fit a Bobcat. | |
|
| | | And off to work removing the floors, concrete and all. | |
|
| | Combine the Bobcat with this huge jackhammer... | |
| | | And you get this! It really, really rips up the floors. | |
|
| | Piles of carpet and other junk from the flooring. | |
| |
| | Time to remove the Roaster. | |
| | | Look at all the hard working folks! | |
|
| | The afterburner portion, fortunately not too heavy. | |
| | | And into the storage container. | |
|
| | Now we bring out the main barrel. 600+ lbs. | |
| | | They move it on rolling pipe. And really get it going fast! | |
|
| | Dean supervises as he's done this before. | |
| | | It gets heaved into the storage container, very top heavy. | |
|
| |
| | Then the rest of the floors can go away. | |
| |
| | And the Bobcat makes quick work of it. | |
| | | We're down to dirt and time to planning sewer pipes. | |
|
| | Trenches are dug to provide pipes for two bathrooms. | |
| | | And then we're ready to start plumbing. | |
|
| | Which will have to be in the next set of pictures. | |
| | | A relaxing meeting with contractors, Hank and Chris. | |
