Q: What happened? Where is everything?
A: I decided to redo the site to make it easier to navigate and quicker to update. It will take a while for me to get it smoothed out, so there may be some dead links or missing sections. Much of the material from the old site will carry over, especially the gaming, pro wrestling, and possibly the anime. If there's part of the old site you really, really need to see, I've got it all saved.
Q: Why are some sections, like the gaming section, so thorough, and some sections, like the Japanese section, so empty?
A: The size of the section depends on it's priority to me. So, being that I adore video games, they're at the top of the list. I've got a lot I want to share about my favourite games, my opinions on systems and so forth. Japanese, on the other hand, is just a side project for me right now. I'm not actively studying it any longer and I don't know when I'll get around to it, so there's just not much to update there.
Q: Are you ever going to finish your areas on Powerstone/Magic Users Club/anime sections?
A: In the case of anime, much of it depends on how much of the series I own. If I don't have a complete set, I can't complete the section. You also wouldn't believe how long it takes to finish scripts and such!
Q: Can you hurry up and finish the section I like?
A: Sure. But you have to tell me. If I know you really want to see a certain section get updated, I can put it high on my priority list. Say, my Entertainment section. It's a very low priority for me, but if you want to see more info on, say, Jackie Chan, tell me, and I'll work on it. ~.^
Q: I want to help out! May I?
A: Sounds good to me! If you've got comments on how I can improve the site, the easiest way to tell me is to use my guestbook. If you think you can really help and you need more than just a guestbook entry, either email me or send me an instant message on AIM/MSN/ICQ/Yahoo! (I use the ShinChuck name on all of them, but I mostly use AIM).
Q: How do you make your site?
A: I signed up on Tripod, years ago, but never used the space. I forget why I signed up and didn't use it (I did that a lot when I was younger). Eventually, in 2001, I did some minor updating, and during the summer of 2001 I really kicked it into gear, working off Tripod using the family blueberry iMac and occassionally my Dreamcast. I used the PowerMac 6500 when I went to school.

Around August of 2002 I bought a .Mac account and move the site over to .Mac, where I updated it using iDisk OS 10.1 and 10.2 on *my* G4. Basically, once you connect the iDisk works like regular disc space. You navigate folders and manually move and update files, like working off your hard drive. Unfortunately, once I went back to 56k it became slow and unwieldy.

Panther (OS 10.3) is supposed to be out soon, which will save the iDisk's contents offline and allow you to work with it there. When you connect, it will update the online iDisk to reflect the changes. That should help me to update more frequently and in greater mass.

Copyrights and Usage
Q: Do you care if I link to your site?
A: Not at all! That'd be great! Either email me or post in the guestbook that you're linking to my site, and I'll be sure to link back to yours.
Q: Can I use the images on your site?
A: Sure, I don't mind, but please finish reading. Most of the images I use are either press material, royalty-free or screenshots I took myself. I don't believe I can copyright things like screenshots anyway, because they're images of a company's material. So, unless it specifically says you can't use this image elsewhere, go ahead. The one exception is my own art, which is an exceptionally tiny portion of the site. Please don't use my own creations without asking. ^.^
Q: What about the text?
A: Depends on the text in question. If you want to copy some of my HTML and use it for your own purposes, go right ahead. If you want to use any articles, FAQs/walkthroughs, poems, reviews, stories, or anything of that nature, please ask me first. It's very, very unlikely I'll refuse, but I would like to keep track of my material.
Miscellaneous
Q: I want to know more about you/talk to you/etc.
A: Why in the world would ya wanna do that? o.o Anyway, check the "About Me" and "Journals" sections. You can also send me an instant message. I use the name ShinChuck on everything (AIM, MSN, ICQ and Yahoo!, but I'm on AIM signicantly more than the others). Or, go ahead and email me with a noticable header, like "Saw your site," or something like that so I'll know it's not spam. I'd like to meet the people who see my site! ^.^
