Lisa + Josh The Omni 9.29.07


Starfish... When i first met Lisa, i thought wow what a really striking stylish girl and then as she was describing her downtown wedding she mentioned starfish, and i thought hmmm urban-beach-chic, if anyone can pull it off Lisa can. Well she did. The roof top wedding had gorgeous giant leaves on either side of the aisle in between the rows of black chairs. The reception was gorgeous with uplights, custom linens, and a starfish touches on each table. And.. on one of the back tables was a frame with 4 pictures in it. The first picture was lisa holiding up a starfish as a small child, and the second josh holding up a starfish as a small child, and the third and fourth high school pictures of each of them. They knew each other in high school, how cute is that.
I guess I just thought it was amazing that they could incorporate so much of themselves in a gorgeously decorated ballroom. It was an emotionally filled day and I was really happy to capture some of the layers of LIsa and Josh.
