Home Schooling
- Any parent or grandparent considering home schooling should
read the research books by Dr. Raymond Moore (The National Home
Education Research Institute, c/o Western
Bible College, 5000 Deer Park Drive, SE, Salem OR 97301 or The
Moore Foundation, Box One, Camas, WA 98607): "Better Late Than
Early", "School Can Wait", "Home-Grown Kids", "Home-Spun Schools",
"Moore-McGuffy Reader Series"; Newsletter by Dr. Raymond Moore:
"The Parent Educator and Family Report". The Moores are among the
pioneers of the home schooling movement in America that begun in
the last quarter of the twentieth century. They accumulated much
of the initial research data that proved beyond doubt the
legitimacy of home schooling's track record in academics and
socialization of children. If you have any doubts about the
superiority (over public or private schools) of home schooling in
the area of "academics" and/or "socialization", you should read
Dr. Moore's research based books. To locate them, go to your local
bookstore or visit http://www.amazon.com

schooling and gives constructive, detailed methods of
accomplishing a meaningful and effective education program for you
and your children.
