We, as a family wish to join the West Alabama Home School Association. We have received, read and acknowledge agreement with the By-Laws of the association, including the Statement of Belief. This signed application, and the included payment, acknowledges our agreement to conduct ourselves in a manner that is in keeping with the expressed ideals of the West Alabama Home School Association and its governance.

We believe in the Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, our guide for daily living.
We believe in one living and true God, maker of heaven and earth; one in essence but eternally subsistent in three Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the fall of man; although originally created in the image of God, through the disobedience of Adam, man fell into a sinful and spiritually impotent state, totally unable to justify himself before God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; that. He became man without sin, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin; that. He was crucified, died, was buried; risen again and ascended to the Father where he sits to make intercession for us.
We believe in the forgiveness of sins made possible by Christ's death and resurrection. That it is God's plan that whosoever come should be saved (John 3:16). We believe in The Holy Spirit as our comforter, teacher, and guide, until the day that Christ shall return with a shout and take his children home, to life everlasting. Amen
We believe that the Bible commands that we should "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
We believe that it is our Constitutional right to home school our children and that it is our responsibility to be in compliance with the state regulations regarding home schools. West Alabama Home School Association is only a support group to encourage our family as we continue this commitment to home school and meet the state requirements. West Alabama Home School Association is not responsible for the education of our children.
