returning to school is not the haven of adult
conversation i thought it might be.
so here i am, second official week of returning to
school after... ummm, more time than i care to mention. i was really looking
forward to the return of adult conversation after a decade plus of dealing with
little kids. i will keep looking
forward.
in class today (an ethics
class) the subject of moral views of sex came up. the general view was that you
learned your views from your parents. well, it ain't rocket science here!
anyway, i jokingly said, "yeah, i hear that sex is hereditary, if your parents
didn't have it, you won't either."
only
the professor laughed.
but wait, it
gets worse. the girl across from me looks at me and says, "really? where did
you hear that? is that like from a study? i told my boyfriend he had a
problem, do you think maybe his parents never had
sex?"
yes, it is safe to say that would
indeed be a problem..........
