NOTE: Where you are meant to read from the UK word on the left over to the US definition/corresponding word on the right, the line is yellow. Where I want you to start with the US word on the right, and go over to the corresponding UK definition/corresponding word on the left, the line is blue, and italics are used.)
Also please note: some words are slang, or regionally used, particularly in the Exclamations section or when marked (CRS)- Cockney Rhyming Slang. I don't have them all specifically marked, but in general,  I think you can tell when a word is not widespread in its usage. The CRS words are probably best not used as serious dialog unless your character is a stereotypical Cockney (besides, I'm not certain that some of them were ever in actual use, but they're too cute to omit.)
