On August 27, 2005, two days after Hurricane Katrina kissed South Florida before going on to murder in less fortunate states, the power guys came and restored our service by 'changing a fuse'. They had to fix some lines a couple blocks away that had been hit by trees first. One guy with a long pole did it, first try- it's like threading a needle 30 feet away.
