The Great Tape Quake The haziness is dust particles suspended
in the air after two wooden shelves full of tapes fell. Yes, I was in the
bed at the time. My head was at the other end, so I wasn't injured. I was
a little concerned because there had been several cats in the room at the
time, and I had to dig to make certain they weren't buried in the avalanche.
You can see various of my interests around the room- it's a small room, fairly
well packed. The photo was taken from the doorway, and doesn't show the bookshelves
on the wall opposite the window or the two cabinets opposite the Star Trek
photos that are full of art supplies, Dr. Who & ST stuff, model horses,
cookbooks, etc. etc. etc.

Sigh. If you've been directed here by a search engine,
I'm sorry to say that I finally gave up hope of getting any takers, and have...disposed
of them. It broke my heart, it did, because I just knew there were a lot
of unique and wonderful things that someone would love to have, but
needs must when the devil drives and there was urgent necessity to get rid
of clutter for safety's sake after mom broke her hip. The stuff I threw out-
the tapes were a drop in the bucket... oh, well... you've gotta do what you've
gotta do. Have to get up the nerve to figure out e-Bay and try to sell what
stuff I have that is actually worth something. LIke the model horses & ST and Dr. Who stuff.
