| These two photos were taken in January
of 1994. I was teaching myself how to design bears, and didn't want to waste
plush fabric. Not many of the results were photographed. These two were
so incredibly silly, I'm glad I have photos of me working on them. I called
them 'Dice Bears'. I can't imagine what that yellow satin with big black
polka dots was supposed to be used for. |

This photo was taken in March of 1992. This white muslin and pink terrycloth critter wound up with his eyes too close together and his nose far too pointy to be a bear. So I added a long tail and he became an opossum. My aunt is holding him in the photo. She often adopted the experimentals. |
