Cross-stitch 4 |
![]() | This pattern was supposed to be done on a cloth with a much larger weave. Being ridiculously stubborn, I continued on even after it become obvious that no one in the world would be able to see the individual stitches without using a magnifying glass. Or even be able to tell they were meant to be individual Christmas trees in pots. This cloth is the right size to cover my VCR, so it's not a total waste. |
![]() | I don't recall when I did these- the ones with lace were kits, as was the teddy in a heart. One year I made many
of these and gave most of them away- without photographing them or even
thinking of it. Well, the camera I had then couldn't take close-up pictures
so it would have been pointless to try. |
![]() | Here are some cross-stitches that I had thought about giving away, but wound up liking too much. They get hung on the wall in the living room every Christmas, on the tree my father painted there, many years ago. I put one of my Christmas montages behind them to photograph them- it was easier than clearing a space on the table. This montage is actually an Advent calendar- I'll put it on the site separately. |
These Christmas kitties really pleased me. They just have such personality that they remind me of cats I've known. |

When I was photographing the others I'd forgot that
one of them had been mislaid last year when I put everything away (it had
fallen behind the couch). So I photographed it separately when I found it later. |
