 | Before you feel sorry for the
pony, remember they're stronger in relation to their size than horses. And
dad only posed for the picture and got off. I think the tiny saddle may have had something to do with that. |

keep horses not too far from me. It's probably all houses now... sigh...

 | I'm not sure whether this was at Sampson's ranch. There wasn't much greenery there. I think these horses were either thoroughbreds or quarterhorses. Haven't they got beautiful faces? |

bay horse as two photos above. The pictures had gone purple with age, so
I had to color-correct them and I may have been inconsistent in the photos. I always loved the coloring of bay horses best. |
| Then again, this strawberry roan is lovely, too. This looks like Sampson's ranch-the ground was all light-colored sand. |
