MOVEON COMPILATION CD WILL BE AVAILABLE ON AUG 17TH


参加メンバーが豪華なMoveOnベネフィットCDは８月１7日発売

Mr. Flansburghが中心となって、あのSpike Jonze監督（"Being John Malkovich",
"Adaptation"）らと制作したMoveOn.org のベネフィット・アルバム「Future
Soundtrack for America 」が８月１７日発売予定です。
参加アーティストはThey Might Be Giantsの他に、David Byrne, R.E.M., F.O.W,
Tom Watesなど（偏ってはいますが）錚々たるメンバー。
TMBGが演奏する曲は１８４０年代の大統領選のキャンペーン・ソングのエレクトロ
ニック・ヴァージョンだそうな。現在、TMBGのDial-A-Song(718-387-6962)で
聴けるもよう。
同時にMcSweeney'sからもこれにコミットした本「Future dictionary of America」
というのを発売予定。多くの作家が参加して、政治をおちょくったおかしなアメリカ
辞書になるらしいです。
