I was feeling just a little smug, a low-risk high-return hero, as I dunked my post-donation muffin in my post-donation hot chocolate. Then I heard two men at the next laminex table talking about someone who'd made 900 donations. Stupid plasmapheresis!

About this Blog
This started out as a patchy journal about family life with my mother-in-law, Mollie, who has Alzheimers and was then living with us. Mollie has moved, first into a "low-care facility" then, in July 2004, into a nursing home. As these and other events have overtaken us, the blog has moved on ...
