Just in case you didn't see it last weekend

Seven Seasons in Aurukun was Bruce Elder's pick of the week in his short reviews of non-fiction in the Spectrum (weekend supplement to the Sydney Morning Herald).

In case you can't read the image, it's a very enthusiastic review, including this:
[The author's] ability to tread so delicately around the minefield of issues in a remote Aboriginal community and to describe, with freshness and honesty, the experience of working in a difficult environment makes this an important book

I didn't see it until we returned from eastering in Victoria, but a number of people alerted me to it -- thanks, all.
