Thu - November 4, 2004blog on the blinkOn election night, as I stayed up
late watching the result trickle in, waiting and waiting for Ohio's numbers, I
finally gave up and created a blog entry to post before going to bed. However,
when I tried to preview it to check for any errors, it didn't post. Things went
downhill from there
Posted at 10:40 AM Read More | Wed - November 3, 2004poor losersI can’t believe it. I am so
angry I could spit nails. All along when I’ve read all the hateful
accusations directed toward Bush, I just chalked it up to the spinned lies of
the Kerry campaign. I expected there to be some venting of the Kerry supporters
right after the election because their hatred is so
intense.
However, I was not prepared for the blatant bias of the MSM AFTER the election! All three major network stations here in the Portland area, ABC, NBC, and CBS had such a bias toward Kerry in their recap news stories that as I watched the 6pm news while making dinner, I almost threw my wooden spoon across the room. I was SO angry. I so wanted to see the celebrations, to join in vicariously. My candidate, after all, won! over. I stayed up late last night, monitoring polls, praying, sending emails,
making comments at blogs. I got up super early this morning to go to early
morning prayer at the church. It was still dark when I got there and then it was
light when we were done praying. I am very excited for today. I am expecting God
to move today.

lunch with his father. I'm so glad they spent some time together. I think more
fathers and sons need to do that. Anyway, on his way home through the Seattle
traffic, we talked. I shared with him that I was fasting today. He assumed it
was for our financial situation and for a new place to move to in the Tacoma
area. But I told him that I was fasting not for us, but for the election. I just
have this huge burden today. I am feeling urgent, like I should be pressing in.
Anyway, he told me about a dream he had last week.
