red poodles


It is my desire to get two red poodles .

It has been two years since I lost Navarre, and though I still miss him terribly, and dream about him often, I feel I am ready for a new pet. However, I'm not at home as much as I was when I had Navarre, and I don't have kids around the house to play anymore. So, I want to get two dogs so that they can have each other when I'm gone and when I don't feel like playing.

I've already started thinking of names for them, even though it may be months before I get them:

-Jacob and Esau
-Esau and Edom (both mean red in Hebrew)
-Merlot and Bordeaux (both red wines)
-Cedar and Alder
-DeeDee and DoDo (I had an imaginary dog when I was a little girl named DeeDee Dog, and I had a great aunt named Dorhelen whom I dubbed DoDo because I couldn't pronounce her real name)
-Rosso and Rojo (Italian and Spanish for red)
-Ruaid and Roa (Celtic and Irish for red)

Greg suggested to use names of kings from the Old Testament. I'll have to do some research on that.
