myths about christiansI started this list because after I
checked my website stats yesterday and found that some of the sites that link to
me are actually showcasing my site because of my "blog of eternal stench " in which I list things
that I think stink. One of the things I list is "homosexuality." However, I
qualified that by stating that I don't think homosexuals stink, just
homosexuality. These sites are furious with me for being "homophobic," which I'm
not. Homophobic defined means "afraid of homosexuals." Ha! That's the farthest
from the truth. It made me think about all the misguided and misinformed myths
about Christians. So, I set out to debunk them, here in my little corner of the
net.
I've noticed that the world thinks
Christians:
-hate gays -don't believe in ghosts -are anti-animal rights -are anti-environment -hate Muslims -hate Jews -are supposed to push their agenda -are supposed to be nice -are hypocrites -think they are better than everyone else -don't use profanity -are close minded -are naive -don't like to party -aren't any fun -are strict with their children -think sex is naughty -are exclusive -are all republican -don't appreciate or understand good music -judge everyone -disapprove of sinners -constantly ask for money -tattletale on their friends -don't drink alcohol -don't smoke -don't break the law -are wrong in their faith Posted: Tue - June 15, 2004 at 08:58 AM | |
