little known and slightly interesting family facts


Years ago I designed and created a family calendar as a gift for everyone for Christmas. I listed everyone's birthday along with their photo on the appropriate day, as well as the holidays and such. I added poems and clipart and then at the very back, I added a family tree and listed some interesting facts about my husband and my families. Here they are:

Shannon's brother's birthday is 3 days before their mom's. Shannon's birthday is 3 days before their dad's. Shannon's birthday is on the 8th. Greg's birthday is on the 16th. 16 + 8 = 24. Both Shannon and Greg's childrens' birthdays are on the 24th.

It’s very easy for Greg to remember Shannon’s birthday 2/8 and their anniversary 8/2.

Greg and Shannon each have only one sibling, a brother, whose name begins with M. Greg's father's name begins with an R. His step-father's name begins with a D. Shannon's father's name begins with an R. Her step-father's name begins with a D. Greg's mother's name begins with a K. Shannon's mother's name begins with a K.

Greg's grandfather's nickname was only 3 letters, BUD. Shannon's grandfather's nickname is only 3 letters, CAB.

Greg's aunt and Shannon's aunt have children whose names begin with T. Shannon's Aunt Susie has Tony (married to Tanya), Tom, and Trina (married a man from Mexico). Greg's Aunt Jan has Tyler and Tanya (married a man from Mexico).

It was always very hard for Greg's mother to keep the names of her daughters-in-law straight, Sharon Sperte and Shannon Sperte. Both Shannon’s mother-in-law and stepmother’s names are named Carol (Karyl).
