The HCI Group

The Napier University HCI Group Web site was built by UR Interactive. I had a major part to play, as a stakeholder, in the design concept, graphics and early flash prototypes. The project is live and still in use.

Cerebral Records

The work presented here is a prototype design for the cerebral records web site. It is a showcase of the interaction paradigm that uses flash animation. It is not populated with data. I designed, built and coded everything you can see in the site.

Previous Portfolio

This is a previous portfolio of my work, that I designed to show how animation can be used to create an interesting interaction paradigm. Once again I designed, built and coded everything using flash .

BMX

This is a flash game that I designed, built and coded as part of my Multimedia Postgraduate Diploma. It was originally embedded in another site but here it is shown on its own. The controls are a little tricky to get used to, but I like the animated rider, when he pulls a trick.

Evolution

This work consists of a number of short flash animations. The first one is simply a graphical animation for the evolution corporate splash page. The second, is a prototype splash page that was designed to incorporate an introduction, corporate logo and menu all in the same piece of animation. The last one is the final animated menu that was central to the main site.

The site was built as part of a group project in conjunction with clients in industry as part of my Postgraduate Diploma. I was responsible for the look and feel of the site, re-branding the company and integrating the flash front end with the rest of the site. It was live for a couple of years.
