<description>This is my journey to find the perfect Hotspot software for my employer. Hotspot Software are mainly used in conjunction with WIFI or wireless access points. Client computers enabled with 802.11 access cards could hop aboard these access points as an onramp to the internet. Hotspot software allows a WIFI provider to control access and possibly generate revenue from their installed WIFI access units.

Wireless access security was the No 1 priority as our company began to role out wireless access. The ease of use that registered users could access corporate data, as well as the possibility of generating revenue from having a prime location, prompted our journey to find the most comprehensive enterprise hotspot software solution.

I have attempted to evaluate my first enterpirse hotspot software from Birdstep.com
