US Obsesity Trends |

Dr. Dean Ornish gave an amazing presentation about diet and hearth health. Of particular interest, and shock, was to plot the obesity of the US over time by state. Be sure you play the video clip above to see how the population of the US has gained weight over the past 20 years.
While this is of great concern, there is hope. What was most encouraging was the ability of the body to "repair" heart conditions with the proper diet. Yea, we all heard this, but Dr. Ornish showed some case studies and heart function mapping to prove the effective of changing a diet.
The bad news, depression will be the #2 cause of disability within 10 years. Heart related ailments are #1.
Let's all take better care of ourselves.
