216 people completed the survey (the survey questions are almost identical to 2000's survey)

1) Do you feel the facilities at Middlesex School either athletic or dormitory are insufficient? YES- 38 17%, NO- 146 68%, Indifferent- 32 15%.

2) Do you think the atmosphere of the school would be improved by more facilities? YES- 36 16%, NO- 128 60%, Indifferent/ Depends- 52 24%.

3) Do you value the Estabrook woods as one of Middlesex's resources? YES- 183 85%, NO- 11 5%, Indifferent -22 10%.

4) Would you support of oppose cutting down part of the woods for athletic fields or school expansion (even though there are no concrete plans to do so)? Oppose- 151 70%, Support-19 8%, Support if absolutely necessary- 46 22%.

5) Is your answer to number four based on concern for the environment, or an assessment of Middlesex's needs? Environment- 45 21%, MX needs- 25 12%, Both-136 63%, Indifferent- 10 4%,

At graduation, the 68 members of the 79 member senior class wore green ribbons and silver spotted salamander pins as a statement of the importance of the Estabrook woods to us.
