A favorite winter walk: Concord's Allan Cole photographed the ice
in cold Estabrook Woods

Allan B. Cole is a long-time Concord resident and a senior scholar in the politics and history of China and Japan at the Fletcher School. He had just begun exploring winter photography in the 1980's when he captured these images. Always a great walker, he was interested in capturing the frozen shapes, patterns and textures in his favorite haunts.
