Dog Series

This series came from living in Paris in the 1990s. Originally tongue in cheek, I soon became attached to such animals and started a series of pictures based on owners giving their dog treats in the form of small cakes. Using Iconic English home brands such as Mr Kippling, surrounded by traditional English flowers. My own Chihuahuas feature in larger paintings magnifying their minute nature; English Bull Terriers with gold chains, pale pink glittery floral backgrounds forcing them to become feminine.
