laptop cruelty
My brother just brought home a spanking new
12 inch PowerBook. When he was about to unwrap it I did something pretty
cruel...
He bought the PowerBook for his girlfriend in
Germany. Even though it was not his own, he of course looked forward to
unwrapping it and playing around with it for a few weeks. So he placed the
unopened into the living room and went outside for a smoke in anticipation of
the celebratory box-opening ceremony that comes along with the purchase of any
Apple product.
While he was outside I swapped the box against an empty one that I had.
He came back in, opened the box and stared into it in horror.
"They gave me an empty box! Damn... by now the store is closed."
I couldn't bear it for too long and handed him the actual box. Relieve, along with box opening followed.
