Designer of the original Enterprise dies
Walter 'Matt' Jefferies died last Sunday. The
truly visionary designer probably was one of the most influencial scifi artists
that ever lived and will be deeply
missed.
I really hate this. The people I grew up with, the hero's of my childhood, are slowly dying off..

I guess this is something that just comes
with the whole "being a mortal human being"-thing but it does definitely not
make it any easier.
Just the other day I was sitting my my bath tub, listening to Douglas Adams explain how to brew a decent cup of tea and it still pains me to know that he is gone.
