Origins of the neck-tie


This is hilarious, in a "thank good we do not have to live in this kinda world anymore"-way...

It's hard to believe this is only about 50 years old. Even though we are not totally living in an equal opportunity society yet, we have come a long way already.

On a personal note: I own one tie. The last time I wore it was two years ago at my wedding. Guess I am just not a tie kinda guy.
