World of Wheels 2006
1970 Chevelle 454SS
The owner claims this car is one of only 19 every built with this option list. He claims a very similar car
recently sold at auction for $1.2 million. Whatever the case, this was a really nice car. Although I'll never
have $1.2 million to purchase a car with, I hope to one day own some form of 1970 Chevelle SS.
That's a mighty big engine you got there sir.
Rear View
1971 Chevelle SS
I would probably accept something like this as a substitute, but I really want a 1970.
1967 Pontiac Firebird
Ooooh... Shiny! Probably fairly fast as well.
Another 1970 Chevelle SS. I think this one was a 396SS.
1969 Camaro SS
1970 Camaro Z/28
I think they got slightly uglified in the 1970-1973 timeframe.
Yes, that's the Batmobile. Yes, from the TV show. Yes, the cheezy one.
Yes. Again.
Believe it or not, this is a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado Sportside. Seems like a waste of a perfectly good truck.
1997 Chevrolet Silverado
There were several other Silverados at the show as well. I noticed that many people have replaced the stock
front end with the front end from a late 90's GMC Yukon Denali. I'm not really sure why. I suppose it's a
cleaner look, but I'm not sure it's a good look on this truck.
Of course, the interior has to match the exterior. Although I would never do this to my Silverado, I thought
this was kinda cool (except for the really tacky steering wheel cover). My wife didn't agree so much.
I have no idea what this is. Just thought it was kinda neat.
From the rear.
Another 1969 Camaro. Not an SS though.
1995 Camaro RS
I was surprised. There were several RS's on display at the show. I wouldn't have thought this option package
was as popular as the Z28.
2001 Firebird Firehawk Convertable
I'd take one.
1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
Claimed to be an unrestored "all original". There were actually several of these cars (1977-1979) on display
as well. Must be the Smokey and the Bandit influence.
My wife cracked up when she saw this VW Bus (with the camper topper).
Interior of the VW bus.
Dodge Viper
This picture's here to satisfy a Mopar-freak friend of mine.
Old-timey...
...with not so Old-Timey power.
Just plain fun.
2000 Chevrolet S-10
This truck's not exactly street-legal anymore, however.
1955 (I think) GMC Pickup
