July 28 - Report from Denver, courtesy of Robin Cole I arrived last night amidst terrible thunderstorms. Mr. Mar and Diane had several shuttles to and from the airport 65 miles away because of flight delays into Denver. A large group of chaperones were stuck at the airport 4 hours waiting to leave, arriving here at the school site at 3:30 am. Everyone looks tired but they are working hard on changes for the show tonight. The good thing is everyone is healthy and the food is good. After the show tonight, tomorrow is a free day in Denver. |

The corps performed this evening at the Invesco Stadium in Denver. It is a beautiful stadium. The show has changed a lot and the kids, who worked all day making changes, performed with lots of energy. The crowd seemed to like the show a lot. We did not get as big of a
standing ovation as we had in Dallas, but there were many who appeared
excited by our show. |
