Basic Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble using a feature, make sure you've checked the FAQ pages for the product you're having trouble with. Also make sure you've read the tutorial if you're having problems with Mac Flight Planner.
Problems with registration codes
It is almost impossible for you to be issued with a registration code that will not be recognised by Mac Flight Planner. Make sure that you've copied your name and code directly from the email you were sent to avoid errors. If you still have problems, email your name and code exactly as it appears in your email from Kagi to me. I'll check it out and find out what's wrong for you and if necessary, issue you another serial number.
Problems starting an application
Applications can crash on launch for a large number of reasons. You can help me locate the problem by using the Console. The Console is an application in your Utilities folder. It will display system level error messages (that can appear to be very cryptic but are often helpful in locating problems within a program). Launch Console and click the clear button in the tool bar. Launch Mac Flight Planner. Copy and paste all messages into an email. Also include you're Mac Flight Planner version number and the version of Mac OS X you're running. These can be obtained by selecting the Mac Flight Planner icon and selecting Get Info from the File menu, and selecting About This Mac from the Apple menu.
Other problems
For all other problems, please email me with as much detail as possible. In order to solve the problem you're seeing, I need to be able to reproduce it so include all the steps required to reproduce what you're seeing. There is no such thing as including too much detail in a bug report.
