The Frog That Learned to Skate

There was a frog. His name was Chris. He was the only boy in his neighborhood who did not know how to skate. So one day, he tried, but his skate was broken. There was one frog named Jacob who was nice to Chris. He said, “I’ll buy you a new pair.” He asked, “Do you want a certain kind of skates?” Chris said, “I want the same kind of skates that you have.” One hour later, Jacob came back. Chris said, “Could you teach me how to skate?”

The next day, Chris tried skating to school. Chris was really good. When he got home, he played with Jacob and the other kids. They were going to the skate park. Chris asked if he could come. Chris said, “I know how to skate.” When they saw him skate, they thought he was almost better than they were. Then they showed Chris how they skated. One kid was bad at going down the half pipe. Then Chris thanked Jacob. He was really happy.
