New Hampshire...

Well the results were interesting.  McCain and Hillary.  Fine.  I would never vote for either.

But DANG!  Obama's speech is one of the best I have heard this year.  He is very good.  I would never vote for him, never, but the delivery and content of his speech was great.  I think Hillary is in big trouble as more Dems hear this guy.

Oh no.  Here comes Hillary...

Her voice and delivery along are going to make be turn the channel.  *Sigh*

Update:  I just realized something.  Edwards and Hillary's speeches were all about what is wrong today in America.  A negative tone.  Obama's speech was all about what could be in America.  A positive tone. Interesting.

Did anyone else see that?...

Just now on the FNC's 'Round Table' there where lights on in the building behind them.  All of sudden there were people doing stuff in those rooms.  Then there were at least three people in orange and yellow vests (security? cops?) that ran through the front door.  The people were gone.  The lights were off for a few.  They came back on.  No people.  Then a few folks walked out of the building including the people in the vests.

Hmmmm.

You can tell how interested I am in the "discussion."

BTW:  Who is the best guy?  I can't figure it out.

Update:  I do know this, Huckabee is a clown.

Update II:  As you know I live in Arizona.  And I have never voted for McCain and I never will.

Hmmm.  Watching this has me down to three.  Thompson dosen't have a chance, even though I like him.  So I guess I am down to two.  So, who is the best between Romney and Rudy?

Hypocrites...

Heard about this story:
WASHINGTON — Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on Tuesday acknowledged that mistakes were made in the firing of top U.S. attorneys and took responsibility following calls for his resignation.

"I accept that responsibility and my pledge to the American people is to find out what went wrong here, to assess accountability and to make improvements so that the mistakes that occurred in this instance do not occur in the future," Gonzales said during a news conference at the Justice Department.

[...]

"I've overcome a lot of obstacles in my life to become attorney general. I am here not because I give up, I am here because I learn from my mistakes, because I accept responsibility and because I am committed to doing my job and that is what I intend to do here on behalf of the American people," he said. (Personal responsibility. Nice. To bad the Dems never show that.)

Democrats are upset over the firings of eight attorneys announced last December. They believe some of those fired were pressured by leading Republicans to speed up investigations of potential voter fraud involving Democrats.

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., who has called former White House counsel Gonzales one of the most political attorneys general in recent history, renewed his call the second time in three days for the attorney general to resign.

"Being attorney general is the one Cabinet officer when the president says, 'jump,' you don't necessarily say, 'how high,' but that is what Attorney General Gonzales has done, over and over again," Schumer said at a press conference on Capitol Hill with Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Gonzales "ought to be shown the door — he ought not to be in this administration. We have got to end corruption in our government. It is not OK to be corrupt."... (Shut Up!)

There is an easy solution to this, fire them all NOW. Just like Clinton and Reagan did:
...When the party in power changes hands in the White House, it is expected that the new president will fire all the sitting U.S. attorneys, as was the case for both Ronald Reagan in 1981 and Bill Clinton in 1993. President Bush, unlike Clinton and Reagan, did not fire all the attorneys en masse when he took office in 2001, and allowed a few to continue in their positions for several months. All were replaced with his own selections early in his administration...

Mr. Bush, fire them all NOW. Problem solved.

Yeah, right. The Dems would then bitch about that. *Sigh*

SOTU...

The speech? Good. One of his best.

Will it do any good? Probably not.

Would he really like to do everything he talked about tonight? Yes he would, but Congress will do nothing. Congress will just complain about the past, bitch about Bush and do nothing.

It is to bad. Some of the things the President said tonight would really be good for America. But no one can get over Iraq. That is the only issue.

How do we get over that issue? WE WIN!!!

We, along with Iraqis, kill the terrorists and WIN. I don't care how we WIN, we just need to WIN. We need to stop fighting a PC war and WIN.

You do that by killing people and breaking things, not worrying about polls. Not worrying about feelings. Not talking to other enemies, other terrorists. And certainly not worrying about how we got there.

WE ARE THERE. Get it? Now we most WIN by doing whatever it takes.

Update: The Dems response? Blah, Blah, Blah.

Raise my middle class taxes. Take more of my money and give it to someone who doesn't have as much. Take down the evvvillll corporations. Make us all equal, even though we are not. *Sigh*

Iraq?

What is their plan? Don't win. Talk, talk, talk. Bush is bad. Bush lied, people died. The same old crap...

A "proper conclusion?" What is that? Run? Give up? How about WIN?

Did that ever cross your mind Mr. Webb? How about we send in the USAF loaded with MOABs and blow the sh** out of the bad guys? You go for that Mr. Webb? I think not.

Do you think one option is Victory?

Guess not....

Sad.

Go read it. You won't believe it. Or maybe you will. I guess it depends. I am not surprised. Next it will be the Fairness Doctrine. Anything to shut-up the opposition. Remind me. Which is the party of free speech, openness, equality and bipartisanship? I'm waiting...

Election 2006...

I don't think it will be like the MSM and the polls predicted.

What do you think?

You can follow AZ results here.

Update (1918 MST): I am calling it for Allen in VA. Let's see if anyone else calls it and if I'm right.

Update II: So the Dems won the house. That's fine. They will probably try to be calm for a while, but they won't be able to resist raising hell and then they will lose it all, again, in 2008.

Update III: Good points.

Update IV: Guess my Allen prediction was wrong. Oh well, you can't have everything, where would you put it?
