Round the Reader - Miers Edition...

Happy Thursday!!!

So Ms. Miers is gone. Good.

I have, I think, one post on Miers. I basically said, "Okay, let's see what she is about." As I have watched people discover what she is about, I was not very impressed and unlike what Harry Reid believes, it is not that she was not "extreme" enough for me. It was because she was not qualified.

I will say it again, I want judges at all levels that interpret the law based on the Constitution. Not rewrite the Constitution, but use it as a foundation for how America goes forward.

I think most conservative, Harry, are like me. They don't believe in extreme ideas, like live sex shows, people having parades to celebrate just their sexuality (when is the next Heterosexual Pride Parade?), killing babies because their birth would be a burden, letting anyone that wants to come into the USA, come; taking my money and spending it without my consent (rebuilding NOLA should be done with local money, not my federal tax money from AZ). We believe that we are "one nation, under God." We believe that this is a great country, we believe it is great because the Constitution sets a foundation, where individuals have the freedom to pursue success and the less the government is involved, the better.

I hope GWB picks someone that believes the Constitution is a important document and can use it as guide when deciding cases. I hope he picks someone that has experience in Constitutional law. They don't have to agree with me on all issues, but the must not want to write law, that is for the people and their legislators to do.
