The Cats, knocking on the door for most of the game, kicked it in with five runs -- FIVE! -- before an out in the fifth inning.
And this was off Monica Abbott, who had allowed one run in her previous 42 innings at the World Series.
A infield hit from Caitlin Lowe started things, and K'Lee Arredondo followed with a single to right.
Tennessee walked Kristie Fox to load the bases for Jenae Leles, who lined the first pitch of her at-bat to right, driving in two.
Chelsie Mesa followed with a long, high home run to right to make it 5-0 as players and coaches burst out of the dugout to greet her at home plate.
