Wow...

I am only pointing this out so you will know. About a month ago, my battery started to fail. You should know that my computer/battery was not included in any recall. After a couple phone calls to Apple, they replaced my battery. By the time they did, it was expanding and not in a good way. Tonight, I smelled smoke. I looked around and my power supply wire was black. I felt it, it was hot. I unplugged it and now I am on battery. I have 48% as I type this. I will go to the Apple Store tomorrow and hopefully they will replace the power supply. Until I know, there will be no more posting as my battery is going...

Just FYI. Even if your laptop is not under a recall there could be problems.

Update (3/13/07): It only took about 15 minutes for them to give me the new power supply. So all is well.

Note to "Geniuses," drop the attitude. Some of the users that come to the "Bar" know a hell of lot more about Macs than you do. Sheesh. I was treated like I just bought a Mac, when in fact, I have had one since 1987. I probably have been a Mac user longer than the "Genius" has been alive.
