ipod mini
Yesterday at the Macworld Expo, San Francisco - the
new mini iPods at US$ 249.
New case, new
chase: hot, smart looking, supposedly scratch resistant anodized aluminium case
in 4 soft colours, although I'm personally very disappointed with the
green
from what I can see on the pictures. Smaller and lighter than the original iPod,
at the time with "just" 4GB and nearly all advantages of the big one, like 25
mins skip protection, up to 8 hrs battery life etc. Special Yay! for the
click-wheel instead of these strange buttons in a top line!
Flaws:
Not yet rated by happy/unhappy customers - too early :-)) , should we give them
the time to find more flaws and wait for the -hopefully- better 2nd gen?? And
lets see about the scratch resistance...I remember that they also used that word
for the white iBook case (the Barbie Mac), and then it was sensitive like a ripe
peach! Unfortunately the Belkin voice adapter doesn't fit on the mini -This
revelation caused lots of sadness here
*sniff*.Last big flaw: available in the US
now, but anywhere else not until april :-(
Nevertheless sweet, aren't they? Sexy
beasts! I want the blue one, please ;-)
