The Senate's aspired abatements
don't even cover 1% of the new indebtedness of Berlin, but they virtually kill
the universities. Even with a full stop of new-employment the TU couldn't
fulfill their allotment of Berlin's planned university-savings. According to the
university's chairmanship there are no alternative places to save. Here and now,
the TU is not willing to pay that
price.
