A small step for Berlin, but a big step backwards for it's education

"TU Berlin lehnt Kürzungsauflage des Senators für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur ab"
Medieninformation Nr. 265 - 20. November 2003 - Bearbeiter/in: tz

The Senate's aspired abatements don't even cover 1% of the new indebtedness of Berlin, but they virtually kill the universities. Even with a full stop of new-employment the TU couldn't fulfill their allotment of Berlin's planned university-savings. According to the university's chairmanship there are no alternative places to save. Here and now, the TU is not willing to pay that price.
