Christopher Reeves has died in hospital today, due to heart failure. Sad story. It was in the news, and they always started with the words "superman is dead". I think he deserves to be noticed as more than just superman, as himself, that is. I would have liked him to get to the point where he could have left his wheelchair again, after all he fought harder than many others to achieve that and really would have deserved many more years. What sad news. He sure is alright wherever he is now. RIP

Side note: got injected with cortisone today, in the tissue next to the achilles tendon. Yikes! Doesn't hurt much fortunately. Got encouragingly patted on head by my doc, knowing I'm afraid of injections. I just hope it will really make a progress in healing, I'm keen on sports again.
