More cooking mischief!
Jamie Oliver burned his goods on the oven when he
was cooking a valentines dinner for his wife Jools. Cooking naked apparently
isn't good - even if you're "The Naked Chef" LOL
But that wasn't what I wanted to say in the
first place. Let's talk about K., my dear friend from the east of Berlin
*grin*
K. was and is single. Currently. One year he wanted
to try baking. A cake. Later Cookies. Hmmm... where should I start... First he
borrowed our old "Napfkuchen" baking dish. He returned it - without the teflon
layer! He had scraped it off with much effort as he took it for dirt or dough
remains. Since then we don't have one anymore. And we'll surely not lend him any
more! At least now he knows... I hope.
The
Cookies, more a fun story: he knew how to craft the dough, and how to work it
into cookie shapes. Only, he just placed them on the naked g r i d in the oven
and was genuinly surprised when he was rewarded with only smoke and a sad heap
of dough mud on the oven's ground. Wuahah - he did it
twice!
So, enough making myself feel
better by dwelling on my friend's miseries. But somehow, a pinch of malicious
glee makes me feel much happier and wholesome. Ahh! (But then I'm only laughing
with him, not about him *ähem!*)
*evil
me*
