Four years ago today we rushed our Sam to the hospital after his laryngeal paralysis took a sudden turn for the worse. Sam never came back home alive, and our home has never been the same since. We miss him so much.

New Newf Family Announced at Kloofbear Newfoundlands

Kloofbear Newfoundlands has announced a litter out of CH Toad Hall's Lucky Day "Lucky" and CH Amorada's Rabaldra til Kloofbear "Evja." There are 3 girls and 6 boys in this very exciting and beautiful litter. With all our hearts we wish these wonderful little newfies the very best lives with every moment filled with joy and love. We also congratulate our dear friends the De Reus and Wessel families, and wish the best of luck and happiness to the lucky families that adopt any of these sweet little newfies.

CH BOUVET JAKE "SCOOBY" September 5, 1993 -September 26, 2005

I received very sad news today. Ch. Bouvet Jake "Scooby" passed away today, just three weeks after his 12th birthday. Scooby was and will always be very much loved by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched during his magnificent life. He had a very successful show career earning many Best in Group, and Best in Shows. Scooby was also very active bringing joy to children and sick people in his work as a pet therapy dog. I never met Scooby, for the past few years he has had his own place in my heart.

I first found out about Scooby a few years ago when I searched the Internet for relatives of my Sam. Scooby's grandfather Ch. Spillways Caleb, ROM was my Sam's father. So for the last few years I have frequently visited the Yesallaw Kennels web site and have been in touch with Scooby's family in Australia, who regularly sent beautiful photos and news about Scooby. There was something very special I could see in Scooby's eyes in the photos.

I offer my deepest condolences to Scooby's family, who along with Scooby, are in my heart, my thoughts, and my prayers.

Scooby, you were such an amazing soul and presence in this world who touched so many lives and made them better. You will always be loved and remembered.

BIS AM/CAN CH. Seal Cove's Espen Til Kloofbear, ROM: 5/5/1995 - 6/13/2005

The very much loved BIS AM/CAN CH. Seal Cove's Espen Til Kloofbear passed away on June 13, 2005. Espen was Joe's canine father and Max's canine grandfather. He was a truly remarkable soul who, aside from his many successes in the show ring, touched many lives with his warmth, gentleness, and sweetness. We were very fortunate to have met Espen and will always remember him. We express our most heartfelt condolences to Evelyn de Reus and all our Kloofbear family and friends. Please know that you are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
