I received very sad news today. Ch. Bouvet Jake "Scooby" passed away today, just three weeks after his 12th birthday. Scooby was and will always be very much loved by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched during his magnificent life. He had a very successful show career earning many Best in Group, and Best in Shows. Scooby was also very active bringing joy to children and sick people in his work as a pet therapy dog. I never met Scooby, for the past few years he has had his own place in my heart.

I first found out about Scooby a few years ago when I searched the Internet for relatives of my Sam. Scooby's grandfather Ch. Spillways Caleb, ROM was my Sam's father. So for the last few years I have frequently visited the Yesallaw Kennels web site and have been in touch with Scooby's family in Australia, who regularly sent beautiful photos and news about Scooby. There was something very special I could see in Scooby's eyes in the photos.

I offer my deepest condolences to Scooby's family, who along with Scooby, are in my heart, my thoughts, and my prayers.

Scooby, you were such an amazing soul and presence in this world who touched so many lives and made them better. You will always be loved and remembered.
