Promotion to the rank of Professor
I received some great news this week. Sister
Therese Antone, President of Salve Regina University (SRU), has informed me that
I will be promoted to the rank of Professor (aka "full professor"), effective
September 1, 2006. I want to thank her for the trust that she has placed in me.
I also want to thank the members of the Rank and Tenure Committee and all the
people who supported me in my effort to achieve this promotion.
I wish my father (Martin James
Rothman) was still alive to hear this news. I know it would make him very happy
and proud. Dad, this one is for you!
