I just recently came across Wussy. This album came out in late December 2005 and features Chuck Cleaver, who sings for the Ass Ponys, one of my favorite Ohio bands. This album must have been very under the radar because I hadn't heard any mention of it. However, this whole album is rock solid. Chuck's voice is still the same, goofy and quirky, but this music is much less rootsy and more pop sounding than the Ass Ponys. There really isn't a bad song on this album and several are standouts.
I'm hoping that this album gets some traction. I just downloaded it from iTunes this evening and I'm on my 2nd listen through. It's going to be on heavy rotation for a while.
