For the 2008-09 program season we continue our successful partnership with St. Mark's and Holy Comforter Episcopal churches.  Midweek Youth Sessions (for all middle and high school youth) will be on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Our location schedule is as follows:

St. Andrew's: September 10 & 24, October 8 & 22, November 12

St. Mark's:  January, February and March dates to be announced

Holy Comforter :  March, April and May dates to be announced

The senior high youth will take on a leadership role, as we fellowship together, have fun, perform community service and learn about Christ and each other along with the youth groups from St. Marks and Holy Comforter.

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

All ages of St. Andrew's youth currently come together for Sunday School in the chapel of the school building.  Here they participate in a lesson and learn songs to periodically sing as a group during church worship.  This will also be used as a planning time for events like the Christmas Pageant.

Senior High Lock-in

In October at St. Andrew's, the senior high youth will have a Lock-In.   This will be for the senior high only and will feature pumpkin 

carving, movies, games, and absolutely no learning required.  Former St. Mark's DCE J. Rasnic will be in charge of the lock-in.

Needs and Requests

We are always in need of Sunday School teachers.  Do you have talents and gifts that would flourish in Christian Education?  Call the church office and we'll put you in touch with Susan. 

Nursery Ministry

Elaine Baur and Stacy Creamer are co-chairs of the nursery ministry.  They will assist in recruiting new members for the ministry and keeping the supplies stocked.  More than half of our nursery volunteers do not have children who use the nursery and if you like children, you are always welcome in this ministry.  Please contact Elaine or Stacy or call the church office, 648-7980.
