All the tracks you see were ours. We did not need to hike the far ridge to find good stuff this day. |

Warm-up run, Berthoud style. |
| Perfect turn. Perfect turn. Perfect turn. Ka-blamo. Bill's bindings take the pressure off the rest of us to avoid falling first. |

Later, under the sun, Bill shows us how it is done. |

The mountains were spectacular in all directions. Here we are looking southwest from top of the east side. Bruno's smiling at the camera. |

Another view of the something-something-avalanche chute in the northwest quadrant. Awesome. Note the other herbs standing up top after I poached first photographer tracks (after the guide). |
| The exit from this chute is a natural half-pipe. Sorry boarders, the 3-mile outrun keeps you off of this run. |

Some fine stuff in in the northwest quadrant. Bruno on the left, and Erik (?) on the right. |

Bruno took this shot of the route he and a few others took through the rocks. The guides will give you whatever you care for. |

The open areas often funneled into some cool trees as Todd is heading for here. |
| But, this is what happens when you ski too close to the trees. Todd needed 11 stitches in the top of the head and had to miss a couple of runs. I think the guides Steve and Greg are saying "Suck your thumb while we bandage you up". Bruno pic. |

The entire former area is yours for the day. |
