
Poppy Seed Cake
Ingredients (1)
| 3 cups | flour |
| 2 cups | sugar |
| 1-1/2 t. | salt |
| 1-1/2 T | poppy seeds |
| 1-1/2 t. | baking powder |
| 1-1/2 t. | almond extract |
| 3 | eggs |
| 1-1/2 t. | vanilla |
| 1-1/2 cups | milk |
| 1-1/2 t. | melted butter |
| 1-1/8 cups | oil |
Procedure
Mix for 2 minutes at medium speed. Grease & flour a bundt pan or two loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees - 1 hour for cake or 45 minutes for loaves. Remove from pan(s). Cool 5 minutes. Poke holes in cake (I use a chopstick) and pour over a mixture of:
